ACCESSORY – OIL CONCENTRATOR

Under normal conditions, the belt skimmer does not absorb anything or minimal with water. If the fluid is moving or if the machine is running around the clock, the belt will pick up oil with high water content leading to a second separation when the oil is picked up. To avoid this, it is possible to mount an oil concentrator directly after the skimmer which gravimetrically separates the oil from the remaining water. When using oil concentrator the problem with water drag out is eliminated and provides a better oil – separating water by gravimetric separation directly after the skimmer.
